Indivisible WA-8 is proud to host
No Kings Issaquah on March 28th
In America, We Have No Kings America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. It belongs to us, the people.
Join us for No Kings 3 in Issaquah where we will respond to the unjust and cruel acts of violence and blatant corruption of the Trump administration.
Saturday, March 28th, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
NW Sammamish Rd
between East Lake Sammamish Parkway and I-90
Issaquah
Over 7,000 people turned out in Issaquah last October – and over 7 million people showed up worldwide! – to peacefully declare, NO KINGS! It was historic, and it mattered. We aim to make March 28th even bigger – targeting 10,000 people right here in Issaquah, creating a mile-long sign-waving action! Register to get updates and more details closer to the event and be sure to invite your friends, family, and neighbors to this peaceful event.
What made No Kings-Issaquah truly special last time was how people infused the event with their creativity and community spirit. From making signs, banners and decorated umbrellas to wearing costumes of all sorts, leading chants and songs, playing a boombox, or sharing treats like cookies and water.
We encourage you to bring your own megaphone to lead chants, organize with your friends to sing together, bring a boombox and a great songlist, create a bucket drum brigade, or bring a large banner.
Here are some opportunities to tap into the creative excitement ahead of the big day:
Come sing with us!
Indivisible-WA8 Resistance Singing! Learn songs focused on hope and solidarity to bring to No Kings. Singing with others offers us a path to feeling our grief, fear, connection, and power. Space limited for some meetings so be sure to register in advance!
March 8th, March 14th March 26th
No Kings Prep Day
Instead of our regular Community Meeting, we are going to use this time to work on sign making, large “artivism” projects, DIY music makers, democracy umbrellas and learning songs, and more. Register for more details as plans come together.
March 14th @Issaquah Senior Center 10am-1pm
Newer to Indivisible Washington’s 8th District? Want to hear more about Indivisibles – who we are and what we do? Please join us a half-hour early — 9:30am, before our official gathering begins for a “Newer Member Welcome & Into to Indivisible” small-group chat. We’ll get to know one another, answer any questions you may have and talk about whatever you’d like! We’ll wrap it up in time for us to get started on No Kings projects at 10:00. See you there!
Join the Car Parade
New for No Kings 3! For those that might not want to stand on the street but want to participate, we are organizing a Car Parade. Plans are under way – let us know if you want to drive in the parade or help decorate in advance. Email us at volunteer.indivisiblewa08@gmail.com.
Keep No Kings Safe and Peaceful!
Our Safety and Traffic monitors are key to keeping everyone safe, and we can always use more folks in this important role. Reach out us at volunteer.indivisiblewa08@gmail.com for more information or join us at our regular 12:30pm Saturday protests at Pickering Barn to learn the ropes on the spot.
Even if you aren’t officially on our Safety Team, everyone has a role in making this a peaceful, non-violent event. Please watch this No Kings: Protest Safety, Know Your Rights, & De-escalation from the ACLU before March 28th.

Help Support No Kings – Issaquah
Donate to Support the Event!! We mostly run on volunteer time and energy but some things cost money – safety equipment, printing flyers and informational handouts, sign materials, and more. We need to raise $1000 to support this event. No donation is too small!
