The Powering Progress “Persuasion to Power” series continues with a discussion on “Using Words that Win” by Anat Shenker-Osorio.
If you attended our group’s Community Meeting in April, you saw a short segment of a recent video presentation for Swing Left by messaging expert and strategist Anat Shenker-Osario. She’s a researcher, a messaging expert, a campaign strategist and author, and the host of the Words To Win By podcast. And, as was apparent from just the brief segment we saw, she is very entertaining! So, you won’t want to miss her upcoming presentation as a part of the national Indivisible Persuasion To Power series.
In order to take on the challenge of persuasion, we need to learn about the conversational approaches that will best get us there. But when it comes to specific issues and hot-button topics, how should we talk about them? That’s the focus of Anat’s presentation – the effective framing of progressive issues to ensure that the most people will listen and be receptive to them.
