Schedule:
11 – 11:45 am – Sign Waving along Gilman Blvd and Front Street – please do not block use of sidewalks or crosswalks and stay well back from the road.
11:45 am – We will march up Front St and then move onto the trail next to the train tracks beginning at Dogwood and then turn onto Creek Way and into the park to gather on the north side of the building adjacent to Memorial Park
12:00 pm – Rally with Speakers
Parking
Street parking is available on most streets, as well as in lots, at both ends of the event. We recommend arriving early to park 3-5 blocks away to reserve closer parking for attendees with less mobility.
Be kind to our elders!
A number of folks have communicated their interest in attending, and also their limited mobility and energy. Please look out for them and thank them for their activism! There are some chairs in the plaza adjacent to the park. If you see someone who might need to take a break, offer your chair up to them.
Bathrooms: As a large crowd is expected, if you’re able, please take care of business before arriving, so as not to over-tax the public restrooms at the Issaquah Library on Sunset Way at Front Street.
Keep Issaquah Beautiful! Your help is much appreciated – leave no trace – pack it in, pack it out!
Area Businesses: Consider supporting local businesses by shopping or having a meal after the event!
