No More Forever Wars
With pressure intensifying over Trump’s ties to Epstein and the DOJ’s cover up, murders, and death at the hands of ICE and CBP; and families struggling on a daily basis; the backlash against Trump is growing and his support is cratering.
So, what does a wanna-be autocrat do? Launch an unjustified, illegal war of aggression. And where is Congress? AWOL. They’ve failed to use their oversight authority. They failed to pass the War Powers resolution.
Congress must act immediately to block Trump’s unauthorized regional war. Republicans need constituent pressure. Democrats could use some pressure, too. Use the links below to call and email our Senators and Rep.

Even as national media attention fades, ICE and CBP are still in Minneapolis. New tactics. Same horrific results. We are not moving on. We need to keep up the pressure.
Tell Congressional Democrats that they need to keep holding the line in demanding reforms for CBP/ICE. In the words of Illinois Governor Pritzker, “No accountability. No check.” Thank them for what they have done so far to stop ICE and insist that they continue holding the line in demanding that Republicans pass common sense reforms for ICE and CPB.
And let corporations like Target, Delta Airlines, Hilton, Enterprise and Home Depot know that they also need to stand with us – and against ICE.
March 14th – No Kings Prep Day
Join us for our March 14th Community at the Issaquah Senior Center from 10am-1pm to help us prepare for No Kings!
Instead of our usual meeting, we’ll be leaning into preparations for No Kings-Issaquah. We’ll be preparing some of our give aways, a Democracy Umbrella tutorial (bring your own umbrella), learn some songs with our new IWA8 Resistance Singing leader, have some DIY stations for noise and sign making, have opportunities to help with some art projects
We’ll have some materials and supplies on hand but please feel free to bring your own supplies!

Join us as we gather together in an atmosphere of hope and community growth. This is an opportunity to take a moment away from the “work” with like-minded folks and celebrate what we work so hard to protect. We’ll have live entertainment, games and fun activities for all.
Bring a savory or sweet dish to share (bonus points for making something green) and please bring appropriate serving utensils for your dish.
