It’s Vote O’Clock!
On Saturday, we proudly brought our joy and creativity. Our pro-democracy values. Our commitment to voting rights. Our belief in “Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.” Thanks to all the dogs, frogs, and Jimothy fans young and old who exercised our First Amendment right to assembly. Check out this video (with sound removed) State Senator Victoria Hunt took of everyone marching down Front Street. Big shout out to our Rallies & Protest team, our crafty artists, musicians, and speakers!
Saturday was a powerful day all over the country. National organizers said with more than 3,000 events across the U.S and world this was the biggest “early vote activation” in U.S. history.
But Vote Early/No Kings is not a one-day event. The more of us who vote early, the harder we make it to undermine our election. So –
Vote Early and get your ballot to the nearest ballot drop box.
Talk to the eligible voters in your sphere. Encourage them to Vote Early! Ask them if they have a plan to vote. Encourage them to vote in every race on their ballot.
For Washingtonians, voting begins as soon as our ballot arrives and ends at 8:00pm on Nov. 3. Use a ballot drop box if possible – especially the week before November 3.
If you or someone you know has not received their ballot by October 21, go to VoteWA.gov to check on the status or print a replacement.
Know someone in WA who is eligible but not yet registered to vote? They can register online by October 26 at VoteWA.gov or in person at a county voting center through 8:00pm on November 3.
Attend one of the GOTV events listed below to help spread the word in these final weeks before Nov 3rd.
Remember, not all of us can do everything, but we can all do one thing!
