Be a Neighborhood Leader!
Neighbor 2 Neighbor is the primary support that national will be giving us to help keep our CD Blue! If you’re not familiar with it, check out the intro post.
One of the key parts of the program is making it as easy as possible for local volunteers to talk to their neighbors, and one aspect of that is having a trusted neighbor to talk to when a canvasser has a question or needs support. That’s where the Neighbor2Neighbor Captains come in.
As a Neighbor2Neighbor captain, you will
- Help ensure a rewarding volunteer experience
- Encourage folks to knock on doors and recruit friends
- Answer questions, coach, and support shifts getting completed
- Have access to additional training and staff support
- Join a facebook group for peer support from other captains
- Get a free T-shirt!
Read the full FAQ here! The first trainings will be on April 24th and 30th, but onboarding sessions will be offered throughout the spring and summer.
