And that’s a wrap for 2025!

There was sunshine for our last protest of the year! Thanks to everyone who showed up on Saturday morning at Pickering Barn to wave signs and stand up against ICE.

Our regular protests will resume in January. See below for more information.

As the year winds down for a lot of activism work, we’d like to take a moment and acknowledge the holidays and all the feelings it can bring up. For a lot of us, the holidays are a time of love, joy, and peace. But for others, it can be a time of added stress, worry, despair, or responsibility.

If you are able, we encourage you to make sure you leave room for yourself during this season of parties, presents, and expectations. Find the time to relax, unwind, and take care of yourself so you can continue to show up in the ways that matter most to you.

Even though things are winding down, the fight does continue, so here are some actions you can take this week, locally and nationally.

Be well.

ISO – Do you or does someone you know have a 3D printer?

We will be joining WA Whistles in their effort to spread whistles throughout WA to help communities protect themselves against ICE. While any whistle works, we are hoping to print the rapid response phone numbers on the actual whistles we distribute.

Please email WA8 Indivisible at indivisiblewa8@gmail.com if you can help or would like additional information!

Stay tuned for Whistle Kit Parties coming soon!

Decline to Sign IL26-126

Here’s an easy action – this is a 3rd initiative being brought by MAGA Republican’s – Joe Walsh and the WA GOP.

This dangerous initiative “would require all voters to have an enhanced drivers’ license or provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship in person. Voters who fail to do so would see their registration canceled.”

In 2024, 200 out of 4 million voters were flagged as potential issues, and all of them were resolved at the local level. This proves, once again, non-citizens are not voting, and our current voter registration system is working.

National Actions

Demand a Congressional Investigation Into Hegseth’s Extrajudicial Killings

Over the last few months, the Trump regime has orchestrated the bombings of small boats in the Caribbean and Pacific that it claims are trafficking drugs bound for the US. They’ve provided no legal justification for these bombings, which have now killed over 80 people in total.

In at least one of these strikes, Hegseth ordered troops to leave no survivors. Compliance with this order required a special operations commander to launch a second strike on two civilians who survived the initial attack. This command — known as a “no quarter order” — likely constitutes a war crime.
