Save the Date – Spread the Word

Indivisibles nationwide along with a coalition of 100s of organizations will take to the streets again on Saturday, March 28th. Indivisible WA8 will host our protest at the same location – NW Sammamish Rd from East Lake Sammamish to Exit 15 of I-90 from 12:30pm-2:30pm. As soon as registration opens, we will be on the map!
On October 18th, we had 7K people out in Issaquah. This March, we aim to have 10K – all affirming that this nation belongs to its people, not to kings.
Preparation starts now. Our Protest/Rallies team has already begun to set the stage but YOU make this event a success – here are just a few things you can do to get ready:
Tell your friends and make a plan to attend together. Decide how you’re going to add to the event
- Bring a portable speaker, a drum or cowbell, a costume
- Watch this safety & de-escalation training video
- Make a donation to support our efforts
We’ll be sharing more information about how you can support the event in the coming weeks. We can’t wait to stand up for our neighbors and our democracy then.

Along with our guests, we will talk about plans for No Kings 3 and the work of our other teams.

If you are new or new-ish to Indivisible WA8, you are invited to join us at 9:30am, before the community meeting begins, for a “Newer Member Welcome & Intro to Indivisible” gathering where we’ll get to know one another and answer your questions.

DHS Funding in Congress – What Now?
Over the last few weeks, the public has made it overwhelmingly clear that they oppose ICE and CBP’s reign of terror and want to see Congress fight back. Now, Republicans are retreating, and Democrats are starting to find their spines. Our organized outrage is working.
But we cannot let up now and we cannot let Democrats settle for empty reforms. To secure real restrictions on ICE and CBP that will actually protect our communities, use the Indivisible National links below to keep up the pressure on Congress.

Sammamish Student Walk-out
Tuesday, February 3rd at 2:20 pm
Skyline & Eastside Catholic student organizers of Washington Students United for Progress (The Amnesty International Statewide Youth Branch) have planned a walkout this Tuesday, February 3rd in response to a request for national student action from student groups in Minneapolis and aims to raise awareness and protest ICE activities within Washington State.
They expect 300 students to walk out from Skyline High School and 150 students from Eastside Catholic School to march in solidarity to Sammamish City Hall.
They invite parents and all Sammamish community members to join them at the crosswalk in front of City Hall at 2:15 PM, and then make their way to City Hall after the students arrive.
It is exciting to see our young people joining in the fight and standing up for their rights and we hope you will join them.
