Final Push to Election Day

After talking about the midterm elections for months, we are down to the final 8 days to do everything we can for the election results we want.

By now, we’re sure that everyone receiving this email has already voted (you have, haven’t you?) So, this week, everyone’s focus should be 

  1. Taking action to Get Out the Vote and 
  2. Making sure that we are prepared if the Trump administration attempts to interfere with the counting or certification of election results. 

Let’s Do This.

Here are your 4 action items for this week 

  1. If you still haven’t yet, drop your ballot in a ballot box today.
    If you need guidance on any of the items on your ballot check out the Progressive Voter Guide. Then, sign up here to track your ballot. (You have not actually voted until you confirm that your ballot has been “accepted.”)
  2. Text your friends and family to ask if they have returned their ballot yet. We know the initiatives and WA State Supreme Court races are going to be close. Tell them to use a drop box and let’s build up those margins!!
  3. Join a No Kings Vote Early sign-waving event. We know how to do this—it’s fun and easy! Check out all the opportunities on our calendar.
  4. Want to go the extra mile? Volunteer for a phone or text bank or canvassing shift. For the No Hate Campaign locally, the candidates in the 12th or 5LD, or for a close race anywhere in the country.
