No Kings Spring! Be There this Saturday!

Millions of our fellow patriots will be turning out this coming Saturday, March 28, in over 3,000 towns and communities around the nation and around the world for No Kings 3 to peacefully declare –

No Kings. No War. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Authoritarians.

Indivisible is committed to non-violent resistance.
We only win when we fight back, and every mass event like No Kings grows our movement.

Where & When: Saturday, March 28, 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. along NW Sammamish Rd between East Lake Sammamish Parkway and I-90 in Issaquah.

And if you’d like to know more about the national planning for Saturday’s protest across America, you can access a very informative video here.

Here’s how you can make No Kings 3 our most powerful and biggest action yet:

  • Because there will be a lot of people, make your plan for getting there and for where to park.  NOTE: Please do not park in either the Costco or the Pickering Barn parking lots – we do not want to disrupt anyone’s business. You can find suggestions for parking here.
  • Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member. Heck, why not bring two, or a whole group!
  • Use these tips to talk with someone you know who’s not sure about going:
    • Some people feel hesitant or unsure what to do. Some won’t go on their own, but would go with someone they know.
    • Keep it short. Speak personally.
    • Tell them you’re going and why. They’re probably angry and concerned, too – Trump’s war, his tariffs, the price of food and gas, losing access to health care, violent armed and masked men in our cities – the majority of Americans do not support this! These are not partisan issues.
    • Don’t overpower with facts. The idea is not to win an argument.
    • Offer practical help: “I’ll go with you,” “We can stay an hour,” “Being there is what matters, you don’t need to bring a sign.”
    • Tell them we are planning a fun, peaceful, joyful event, and yes, there will be folks in inflatable costumes!
  • We need your volunteer help:
    • Carry resistance artwork. The art is already made, and it’s pretty awesome, if we do say so ourselves.
    • Carry a boombox. All you need is an ad-free music service on your phone.
    • Wear one of our inflatable costumes!
    • Help with outreach at the event. Help distribute informational flyers with folks who turn out! We provide the materials and share what you need to know.
    • To learn more and to sign up to help with any of these things, just email us at volunteer.indivisiblewa08@gmail.com
  • Sing songs of resistance with us. Learn about our Singing Resistance group, join the group’s practice session this Thursday, March 26, and be part of the group’s performance on Saturday by signing up using this  link
  • Join our Car Caravan. Want to be a part of this, but can’t stand on pavement? We’ve got you covered with our Car Caravan! To learn more, email us at volunteer.indivisiblewa08@gmail.com
  • Donate to help support No Kings – Issaquah. We are a volunteer, grassroots organization and some things cost money. No donation is too small. Donate to support our event

Many Thanks to Everyone Who Has Contributed So Far to the Success of No Kings 3!

A big thank you to everyone who came out for our No Kings 3 “work” party on Saturday – what a fun way to make a difference!

$200 Billion for Trump’s War with Iran?
Tell Congress, “Heck no!”

Trump’s unauthorized war in Iran has killed US servicemembers and caused thousands of civilian deaths. It has devolved into a larger regional conflict across the Middle East, triggering worldwide supply disruptions – with no sign of stopping anytime soon. The American public is firmly against this conflict. None of us want another forever war.

Take Action Now. Demand that your Members of Congress do everything in their power to stop Trump’s war in Iran, by:

  • Conducting immediate oversight;
  • Continuing to force votes on War Powers Resolutions;
  • Restricting or cutting off funding for unauthorized hostilities, including any supplemental packages that would fund the war or any new war in Cuba or elsewhere; and
  • Publicly opposing the war.
