50 Days Until Election Day
Over the last year, we have joined with millions of others across the country in the three largest protests in US history to say “No Thrones, No King, No Crowns”. We did this to show that democracy will fight to persist despite the fascist dreams of those in power.
On October 17th, we will gather again but our goal is not just to protest but also rally folks to take back power from an authoritarian president that wants to subvert the results of our election, by spearheading the biggest election turnout ever so the results are indisputable!
Join us on Saturday, October 17th at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Issaquah at 11am as we rally, march, and signwave to kick off the first in a series of events to encourage everyone to get out and vote early.
In the weeks following our No Kings event, we’ll have several opportunities for folks to hand out zines at public events, attend sign waving and overpass bannering events and more! Community Meeting – Saturday, September 19th
Reminder: Our September meeting has shifted to the 3rd Saturday of the month to accommodate Rosh Hashana.
Join us on Saturday, September 19th from 10 AM -12 PM at the Issaquah Senior Center. We’ll talk about our GOTV plans, the strategy behind No Kings Vote Early, Election Protection, and ask ourselves, “What am I going to do so I know I did everything I could to defend democracy for this election?”
